WOODEN PYRAMID WITH BASE — RAINBOW SORTING TOWER

The Tower of Hanoi is a popular logic toy for children that originated in East Asia.

RULES OF THE GAME: All discs, arranged in order from largest to smallest, should be moved from the first tower to the last, using the middle tower. On the final tower, the discs should again be arranged from largest to smallest. You may move only one disc at a time, following the rule that a smaller disc must always be placed on top of a larger one.

Sounds simple? Not quite. This puzzle will be a challenge even for adults!

Of course, you don’t have to stick strictly to the rules! Play is best when it’s creative.

The colorful, rainbow-hued tower catches children’s attention. The toy can be used by toddlers as their first sorter.

This toy grows with your little one! It will serve children of various ages and provide enjoyment for many years. A first sorter for a 2-year-old, and at the same time a logic puzzle for older kids. Parents will also want to give it a try more than once. Will they be able to solve the puzzle for 6-year-olds? Find out!

Sliding the rings onto the rods helps develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Playing by the rules teaches children patience and perseverance. It develops logical thinking and perceptiveness. It promotes concentration and can be a way to calm a rowdy toddler.

Wooden toys—or “aids,” as they’re called in the Montessori philosophy—delight with their simplicity while also stimulating creativity. They encourage children’s intellectual development while offering an enjoyable way to spend time.

The base of the toy doubles as a box where you can store all the pieces of the puzzle. This makes it easy to keep things organized, and there’s less chance that any piece will get lost.

The puzzle consists of:

• colorful discs,

• a box/base,

• three rods.

When you give this toy to your child, you want to be sure it’s safe. We understand that! That’s why every piece in the set has been carefully sanded to ensure no splinters will prick your child’s little hands. Safe, non-toxic paint was used to paint the rings. The pieces are too large for a child to choke on.

Wooden toys are an excellent choice for those who want to live in harmony with the environment—they’re made from natural materials, are durable, and can be passed down to future generations. Plus, they’re aesthetically pleasing, a joy to look at, and pleasant to the touch.
