1. Film properties:

• self-adhesive—the film features a specialized channel-type adhesive that makes application easier and minimizes the risk of air bubbles; the film is easy to apply, especially on flat, even surfaces

• easy to adjust—you might be thinking, “What if I apply the film incorrectly?” Don’t worry! Even within a dozen or so minutes after the initial application, the film will reach its full strength. In the initial phase, the adhesive doesn’t “set” very firmly yet, which makes it easier for you to correct any mistakes

• easy to remove—you can easily remove the film using warm air; it leaves no adhesive residue

• flexible and thermoplastic—you can mold the film to fit a wide variety of shapes. All you need to do is apply heat, which will increase its malleability

• Easy to cut to size—the film has evenly spaced lines on its inner side, making it easy for you to cut it to the desired size

• resistant to abrasion, detergents, and even oils and greases

• easy to clean—just wipe it down with a damp cloth.

2. Installation Instructions

Tools needed for installing the film: a surface degreaser, scissors, a hair dryer, and a squeegee. (Not included in the set)

CAUTION! If you plan to use a heat gun, be sure to maintain a safe distance. The same applies when using a hair dryer. Excessive heat can cause the film to peel.

1) Preparing the film—the film has evenly spaced lines on its inner side. Use these lines as a guide to cut out the appropriate piece with scissors. CAUTION! Be sure to allow 2–3 cm for wrapping the film under the surface you’re covering.

2) Surface preparation—thoroughly degrease and wipe down the area where the film will be applied. It must be clean and dry.

3) Applying the film—apply the film gradually by peeling off the backing paper. For flat surfaces, press it down using a squeegee. However, when working with curved shapes or uneven surfaces, heat the film using, for example, a hair dryer. The film will become pliable, and with a little patience and precision, it will conform to the surface being wrapped.

4) Removing air bubbles—the channel-type adhesive minimizes the risk of air bubbles. However, if any do appear, smooth the film from the center outward—you can do this with a squeegee.

5) After installation, the film does not require heat curing.

3. Applications of the film

The film is primarily recommended for indoor use. It can also be used outdoors.

Most common uses of the film:

• as wallpaper, to give walls an exotic look

• refreshing the look of window sills, closets, dressers, and other furniture

• to conceal damage and other imperfections

Warning! There are certain places and objects where you should not apply the film:

do not apply it to moving parts—such as door hinges—because the film may tear

Do not apply to surfaces that get hot—such as light fixtures or oven doors—because the film may catch fire
